I voted for multimedia improvements as well. I work on a Java UI for a high-end video encoding application. I would also like to see better support for image capture devices like scanners and cameras. Support for Faxing directly from Java. And, of course, JMF done right and completed.
JMF had so much promise when I first spotted it, but it never matured. If you've ever used Microsoft's DirectShow you know how poorly it can be done. JMF could have been a great thing. |
