Hi,

We will have a blog entry out shortly but we have made the first steps at opening up some of the changes that we've been talking about. The first step is introducing JSR330 as an API for plugin authors and eventually doing some more work in the core to modularize using JSR330.

Stuart McCulloch will be following up with a more detailed post but the Github repository has been opened for people to look at the code. We're happy to answer questions and please dig into the code!
