Description mminella 2013-03-08 22:15:30 UTC
In section 8.2.6.5:
1. Why is the collector called once at the end of the step as well as once at the end of each chunk? What is the purpose of the extra call at the end of the step?
2. My assumption is that a partitioned Batchlet executes each partition within it's own thread/transaction. If that is correct, why would the partition collector only be called once at the end of the step for a batchlet and not once per transaction commit like with chunk processing?

It's a typo. Glad you caught it. It's supposed to say end of partition - not end of step. Updated in PFD v1.6.

This same issue exists in the javadoc of the related interfaces as well.
