Description mminella 2013-03-11 22:02:26 UTC
Why is there a need for both an id and an instance id on the JobInstance? There should only be one.
Comment 1 ScottKurz 2013-03-12 03:11:46 UTC
How did that get back in there? Chris, it wasn't in the copy of JobInstance you sent to me...
Comment 2 cvignola 2013-03-12 14:20:39 UTC
Easy: I screwed up. Correct JobInstance is:

package javax.batch.runtime;

public interface JobInstance {
	/**
	 * Get unique id for this JobInstance.
	 * @return instance id
	 */
	public long getInstanceId();
	/**
	 * Get job name.
	 * @return value of 'id' attribute from <job>
	 */
	public String getJobName();
}

I am correcting the spec in PFD v1.6.
