JDeveloper 11.1.2.4 with ADF Mobile Extension
      Mac OS 10.8.3

      Description

(After a conversation on twitter with CM he wanted me to log the following)

      SUMMARY

On making a first testdrive with the new ADF Mobile Release I noticed the following Log-Message since my iOS Deployment to Simulator did not work

      """
The version of the iOS SDK specified in ADF Mobile Platform preferences is less than 6.0 - the minimum version necessary for ADF Mobile
      """

Looking into the Preferences > ADF Mobile I noticed that the Path to iOS SDK points to ..5.1...

      ACTION

      Switching the Path to /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator6.1.sdk
and rerun the deployment profile for iOS deployment everything worked fine.

      Regards,
      AK

This is something I already thought and finally found (with the help of BlueberryCoder) on http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/documentation/11-124-rn-1942343.html#11.1.2.4.0ShermanUpdate4-ReleaseNotesREPOSITORY-Migration

        "Migration Steps:
        1. For iOS, XCode 4.5.2 is required along with iOS SDK6.0. Please download XCode from Apple developer portal. "

        CONCLUSION

This is not an issue. Works as expected!

Finally back on to this after holidays.

So via Twitter what I wanted you to log was the fact that the Example directories for the Android/iOS configs are less than the certified versions. This will potentially mislead customers into picking the wrong Android SDK/XCode directories. Thanks for responding to my nagging

With regards the Android location the Tools->Preferences->ADF Mobile->Android dialog shows API 14 as an example, when API 15 is the minimum Android API we support for JDev 11.1.2.4.0/ADF Mobile v1.1. I've raised bug 16823942 as a result.

I suspect there is the same issue with iOS, that is, the Tools->Preferences->ADF Mobile->iOS dialog shows a directory location of iPhoneSimulator6.0.sdk when I think XCode 4.5.2 (which is the next current minimum XCode version for v1.1 ADF Mobile) installs iPhoneSimulator6.1.sdk. I've made an additional note in bug 16823942 as a result, though I'm unable to verify this particular issue as I don't have a Mac installed with multiple versions of XCode.

As bug 16823942 doesn't relate to the issue you've logged here which is to do with your settings being migrated between JDev versions, I'm happy for this Jira issue to remain closed and I'll track the bug myself. However reopen this issue if you think otherwise.
