      JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0, Offline Database Object modeler set for 11gR1 database.

      Description

      Entered a valid constraint (works in the database) in the Offline Database Object table definition:
      REGEXP_LIKE(phone_num,[^[0-9]

      {10}')
      Got error:
      Errors parsing Check Constraint PHONE_NUM_CHK:Error(s) parsing SQL: syntax error near *Unable to render embedded object: File (* in the following *) not found.*REGEXP_LIKE(phone_num,[^[0-9]{10}

        Slight correction in your text, the regular expression check constraint is: REGEXP_LIKE(phone_num,'^[0-9]

        On speaking to the devs the fix is in the 12.1.2 SQLDev codeline and they are in the process of merging this with the 12.1.2 JDev codeline. once available I'll be in a position to test this change.

        Happy to say after the code lines were merged and I had time to check, this issue is now resolved and will appear in the 12.1.2 build. As such closing this issue, but reopen if necessary.
