Please consider the JDeveloper tutorial "Working with ADF Bindings" [1].

When following the steps in this tutorial using JDeveloper, running the result of "Step 8: Access operation bindings" does not show the "new selection" after selecting "Next 3" (in numbers 18 and 19).
This unexpected behaviour can be reproduced using the finished application for the tutorial [2].

Updating the table partialTriggers="::cmi1 ::cmi2" to partialTriggers="::cmi1 ::cmi2 ::cmi3" seems to improve the behaviour.

  • (q1) Can the unexpected 'Next 3' behaviour be reproduced using [2]?
  • (q2) Should a documentation bug be filed for this unexpected 'Next 3' behaviour?

many thanks
