      Description

      hi

Please consider working on an ADF Mobile application using JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0 .
If the ADF Mobile application source has been checked out from a Subversion repository (so the source directories have ".svn" directories), deploy the app to a package.
Rename the resulting APK file to a ZIP file and unzip it.
In the unziped files, find a ".adf" directory containing a ".svn" directory.

      • (q1) Is having ".svn" directories in a deployed APK file intended behaviour? If so, how can it be avoided? If not, can a bug be filed?

      regards
      Jan Vervecken

My e-mail to Joe Huang, referring to this JIRA issue ADFEMG-69, did not result in any feedback.

I created service request 3-6412035570 for this.

Bug 14198731 (unpublished) already exists for this issue.
I don't see this as a major issue though - you can use the SVN export function to export a clean copy of the source and build / deploy from that to provide an unpolluted app.

As 11.1.2.4.0 is currently the last 11gR2 release, this has been rescheduled for 12.1.3.0.0 which (with usual Oracle disclaimers of no guarantees) should include the first ADF Mobile release on 12c.

The associated bug under 12.1.3 has been marked as closed, not reproducible. As such I'll assume it's fixed, but we can reopen this bug if it proves not to be in the 12.1.3 release timeframe.
