      Description

On IE9 when dragging over a valid drop component the pointer shows a disallowed sign.

If the user ignores the pointer and continues with the drop operation it is successful so this is a visual problem rather than functional.

I have tried various combinations of components and it seems like all drag and drop operations are affected.

IE8 and other browsers (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Safari) do not have this problem.

I raised SR 3-6588048471 and Oracle development responded that this is a bug in IE. ADF is setting the pointer correctly but IE is overriding it. They have raised a bug with Microsoft.

Oracle bug 16035752 is tracking the issue.

        Hi Chris,

I'm still waiting for the official patch to be released. If you want to close knowing the patch is on the way that's fine or I'm happy to update again with details once it arrives.

A further note is that I've tested this on 11.1.2.3 and it is also affected so I have requested a patch for that version too.

        Cheers,

        Kevin

If I understand it correctly you were issued a patch around 19th June 2013. Can you give us an update please?
