      Description

The OpenPortal portlet container is able to run on Glassfish and Tomcat.
Unfortunately, when configuring it for the Portal Pack the only server that it
recognizes is Glassfish. This is a problem if you want to run tests using a
minimum configuration. It is particularly a problem when running on Linux since
there appear to be bugs (to be entered in a subsequent issue) running Glassfish.

aThere is no way to put the container on Tomcat when configuring a server for
it, because the window always asks for only the location of the Glassfish server
and its domain. There is no "application server selector", and Tomcat doesn't
      have domains.

Of course, one could choose to simply setup Tomcat independently of the Portal
Pack and use the Pack to create the portlets. This is unacceptable, because
under those circumstances it is impossible to use the Portal Pack to test and
      debug portlets.

A Tomcat- based support is needed.
