Will try to find out the cause. One thing i can think of is LazyLoading of the ORB (if this is really the case
then i guess we will have to close the bug as WONTFIX). But will check with our ORB expert Ken and let you
        know.

U maybe able to disable lazyloading of ORB if this is really an issue for you.

"lazyloading" - do you mean jnlp 'download="lazy"' option or something else ?
If you mean jnlp option, I can say that this problem also occur when start
application statically without java web start.

I think you meant "lazy component initialization" feature of glassfish server.

I tried to set lazy-init="false" in "iiop-listener" tag of domain.xml but with
no success. The problem remains. The interesting thing is that another stateless
bean exposed as web service and accessed through https returns answer without any
        delay.

defer this to V3.2 since this appears to be less critical given the other P2's we have and the time left for
        MS7.

        Hi,

Will you be able to test your App with 3.1 and prove to us that this is an issue. Can you give us a testcase.
