      Description

While on Oracle VPN (Cisco VPN client), I was unable to create an instance on a local node (wireless
      adapter, en1 interface). Command:

      asadmin create-local-instance \
      --node localhost \
      --cluster cluster1 \
      --lbenabled=true \
      instance1

      Command output:
remote failure: Attribute mismatch for nodehost: 192.168.5.218 != localhost

      Ping output:
PING localhost (127.0.0.1): 56 data bytes
      64 bytes from 127.0.0.1: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=0.041 ms
      64 bytes from 127.0.0.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.042 ms
      64 bytes from 127.0.0.1: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.040 ms

The same issue also occurred after I logged out of the Oracle VPN.

After rebooting my laptop, I was able to create the instance. The issue may have had to do with the Cisco
VPN software hosing the interface. Feel free to close this issue, and I'll re-open it if I can find a re-
        produceable test case.

I signed on to Oracle VPN. Then did start-domain, create-cluster cluster1,
        asadmin create-local-instance \
        --node localhost \
        --cluster cluster1 \
        --lbenabled=true \
        instance1

        And the command was successful.
        Using Ethernet Adapter on Windows.

Please reopen if you see the error again.
