Launch - 404 error with standalone instance

      Description

      build: glassfish-3.1-b23-10_04_2010.zip

      Deploy an application (e.g. scrumtoys.war) to a standalone instance. Go to
      Applications page and click on Launch - 404 error is displayed.

        It depends on how your application is setup. If there needs to be JSP/Servlet
        mapping, instead of just using the context root of the embedded war, then the
        launch link will be incorrect.
        We want to discuss with web-container group to see if it is possible to
        construct the launch link correctly for embedded war. If not, we cannot support
        launching of embedded war.

        This has nothing to do with an embedded war. The application being deployed is a standalone war as
        indicated by the bug submitter. Please attach the .war file with the bug with which the issue was
        reproduced.

        The issue of accessing the launch page is fixed. Accessing the application may
        still require modifying the URL, depending on how the application is set up.
