 Description  « Hide

When I run the downloaded jar file to install GF V2, I see the following error

[2x2ghzpmac:300gb/V2/pe] vbk% java -Xmx256m -jar
2006-11-18 08:46:19.813 java[2526] CFLog (0): CFMessagePort:
bootstrap_register(): failed 1103 (0x44f), port = 0x10403, name =
See /usr/include/servers/bootstrap_defs.h for the error codes.
2006-11-18 08:46:19.813 java[2526] CFLog (99): CFMessagePortCreateLocal():
failed to name Mach port (java.ServiceProvider)

It doesn't appear to be have any "real" effect, but is troubling... Far less
important than issue 1462....

Just now I am running this on Mac with following command:
% java -Xmx256m -jar ~/Desktop/glassfish-installer-v2-b40.jar
This command opens "License Agreement" windows, and once you accept it,
installation completes without any such message specified.

My machine env is as below.
>uname -a
Darwin 8.9.0 Darwin Kernel Version 8.9.0: Thu
Feb 22 20:54:07 PST 2007; root:xnu-792.17.14~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc

Downgrading it to P4, if it works for you, you can close it.

Bulk update to change fix version to "not determined" for all issues still open but with a fix version for a released version.
