      Description

Based on the following forum thread, GlassFish console may have issues with openJDK.
      Refer to http://forums.java.net/node/805065

Many open source users are using openJDK. While we do not formally support openJDK, it would be useful to have community level support for this.

OpenJDK 7 support is a planned feature for GlassFish 3.1.1, right? If so, then this bug is redundant, I think.

I just tested the Admin Console on the latest Mac build:

        openjdk version "1.7.0-internal"
        OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0-internal-henri_2011_06_24_19_03-b00)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 21.0-b16, mixed mode)

The Console ran as expected. The suggested solution, then, is to upgrade to the latest OpenJDK build or, as noted in the other issue, install the HotSpot/SunJDK.
