      Description

New option for all the start server commands

      -w
      --watchdog

It is a boolean option very similar to the verbose option. It works exactly the same as verbose, except it does NOT echo the output from the server process' stdout and stderr streams and the log messages. It just sits there quietly waiting for the server process to exit.

      Truth Table

      watchdog verbose what?

T T verbose trumps watchdog – just like the next one
      F T Classic verbose behavior
      T F New Watchdog Behavior
      F F Classic non-verbose behavior

Paul – I never tried "sub-task" in JIRA. Is this the way you prefer?!?
