      Description

The REST invocation capability is important for Non-JavaEE vm templates to be able to register themselves with IMS, without requiring GlassFish installation in the VM.

The register-virtual-machine and register-startup commands need to be REST enabled for usage in the Non Java EE virtual machine templates.
