As per Romain's request, I am creating this issue:
You will need a new packager module.
Since we might not be able to create it quickly, you can create a JIRA issue for it and stick the batch dependencies to an appserver package as a temporary workaround (glassfish-common-full).
We need to know what are batch's dependencies (within GlassFish) and what depends on batch in order to create the packager module.
It would be nice if you could provide those information in the JIRA ticket.
1. The two jars from IBM (javax.batch-api-all-1.0-b07.jar & com.ibm.batch-runtime-all-1.0-b07.jar) are available in maven central
2. I will be checking in a new module called batch-connector (under main/appserver) whose pom.xml will have the following:
3. Finally, I need to keep a sql script file (that creates tables required by Batch RI). This could be placed under <gf-install-dir>lib/install/databases
