      Description

      Background
My aim is to have a cluster where each server uses a single IP on a multihomed machine.

      Situation
I defined my cluster so that all listen addresses are a property ( SERVER_VIP ) and then defined this to be different for each server instance.

The server cannot start because it attempts bind to the variable name

There is a related issue that is fixed in version 4 https://java.net/jira/browse/GLASSFISH-18597 but this refers to the DAS connecting to the server not to the process of starting the server
