 Description  « Hide

Glassfish reports an error "Error occurred during checking if the instance is
CAS or not." Deployment of the app was migrated from NetBeans 5.5 to NB 6.0, but
I can not reproduce the sequence of changes from 5.5 to 6.0 to reproduce this
error. I think it is reported from
The log level is severe, but I can not determine if this is the root of the
deployment problem

1) The final comment in the method says the return should never be reached.
This comment probably belongs in the catch clause.
2) There is no additional message in the log warning so I guess it is an NPE.
3) What's CAS? Central Admin Server? Probably would not hurt to use words
instead of acronyms for unexpected errors

Assign to jbi team for initial evaluation.

As mentioned in the release notes of NetBeans 6.0, it is recommended that you
run on GlassFish V2. So, if you upgrade to GlassFish V2, things should work fine.

harpreet added a comment - 12/Feb/08 11:29 PM

Based on comments - not applicable to v2.1. Adding as911-na tag.

sanandal added a comment - 11/Jan/09 07:01 AM

"Reclassifying as P4 because this issue is not deemed "must fix" for this v2.1
release whose primary release driver is SailFin.
This issue will be scrubbed after this release and will be given the right
priority for the next release."

Tom Mueller added a comment - 06/Mar/12 09:58 PM

Bulk update to change fix version to "not determined" for all issues still open but with a fix version for a released version.
