      Description

I am using v2 ur 2. I have started the AS with jdk 5 update 16.

I have a web app (attached).

I deploy the web app with asadmin.
      it deploys "clean"

I hit the apps front page. http://localhost:8080/TravelCenter
I get an exception... which I expect, because the resources have not been
defined (shoot me I am lazy).

I use asadmin to undeploy the app.
I get the exception that triggered
      http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=150332. The user that reported
this found the issue in v2.1 b56...

I checked the source of the app... it doesn't appear to use NClob.

I am transferring this to the web team. In reading the stack trace in the
NetBeans issue I infer that the problem occurs as the web container is trying to
serialize session information as the app is stopped (as part of the undeployment).

Web folks, please send this back if you find that the problem implicates
        deployment in some way.

Tim, you were right in assigning this to the web team.

I had already filed the following issue:

        https://glassfish.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=6447
("Avoid serializing and saving sessions to file during un- or redeployment
        (unless requested by user)")

based on a user request in the forum.

I'll go ahead and mark one as a duplicate of the other.

Before we close this as a dup, I would like to know why the server is looking
for java.sql.NClob, when the server has been started under JDK 5.... and the
deployed app doesn't contain a reference to java.sql.NClob...

The ST makes me wonder if there is some component of V2 UR 2 which has been
compiled against JDK 6 and shipped in out Java EE 5 app server???

This also affects V2.1... and should probably be resolved in the v3 code line
        and the v2 code...

release whose primary release driver is SailFin.
This issue will be scrubbed after this release and will be given the right
        priority for the next release."
