JRuby connector supports many ruby based frameworks, one of the framework
'Sinatra' could have just one ruby file. Sinatra provides a simple and powerful
way to create restful apps in ruby.
So if the Sinatra file is: blog.rb which has contents such as:
get '/' do
"And the blogging begins"
So we expect the deployment to happen as, asadmin deploy blog.rb. When I try to
deploy it, the deployer expects it to be a zip archive and then fails
deployment. This restriction is unnecessary, given that the container can handle
This enhacement will be needed to support frameworks such as Sinatra or any such
framework where the deployable artifact is not an archive but rather just some
script or file.
