      Description

On [Edit Connection Pool] page, I see some erattic behavior in validating input
      value.

      [How to reproduce]
      1. Open Administration console gui
      2. From side menu click JDBC -> Connection Pools
      3. Click one of Pools listed in the table(maybe DerbyPool or so)
4.On [Edit Connection Pool]-[Pool Settings] area, delete default number from
textbox to make that field be vacant, then click [Save] .
      5. Error message will appear at the top of the page saying:
      An error has occurred
value: does not represent an Integer
      --------

If you place non-numeric value like "a", " ", "+" or so, validation will be
done at client side. Maybe null value (vacant string) would be better included
among them to make it be consistent.

        This is fixed in 4.0.
Optional fields without any value will result in saving as default value.
