 Description  « Hide

Given the support of glassfish with django pylons should be an easy expansion.
I've installed pylons to jython and used the following tutorials to create a
pylons app on glassfish to no avail:
http://weblogs.java.net/blog/vivekp/archive/2009/06/run_django_appl_1.html
http://pylonshq.com/docs/en/0.9.7/gettingstarted/#installing (everything below
creating a pylons project)

I get the following stacktraces when trying to deploy from helloworld/ :
~/glassfishv3/bin/asadmin deploy .
com.sun.enterprise.cli.framework.CommandException: remote failure: There is no
installed container capable of handling this application
com.sun.enterprise.deploy.shared.FileArchive@74a456bb

Command deploy failed.

and when using helloworld/helloworld :
com.sun.enterprise.cli.framework.CommandException: remote failure: Exception
while loading the app : java.lang.Exception: Module not started
org.glassfish.scripting.jython.JythonApplication@77fb58b6

Command deploy failed.

as a quick tip to install pylons use the mercurial repo and run the setup.py
method within, the go-pylons.py install script the tutorial opens with seems
incompatible with jython.

Bulk update to change fix version to "not determined" for all issues still open but with a fix version for a released version.
