Add a new server. Select any of the Glassfish 3 options. Browse to the glassfish3/glassfish directory of the glassfish 3.1.2 installation. Error message at the top of the dialog says there is no valid glassfish in that dir, but change the JRE option and the error messsage changes to "Missing classpath entry .../modules/jsf-api.jar".

The glassfish 3.1.2 installation does not have a modules/jsf-api.jar file.

I guess the folks that conjure 'Oracle Glassfish Server Tools' out of this project need to conjure up an update.

When will this update make it officially to the Eclipse Marketplace?

Vince, it's rather confusing that the Eclipse Marketplace still contains a rather old version of the Glassfish plugin (from mid 2011), that misses important fixes like this one. Is there any reason for this?

I have been busy doing other things... and the process to update the items on the Marketplace (including changing the owner of the item) was going to take time I could not allocate... I will take another swing at it.

I've just stumbled upon the same issue using Eclipse 4.2 and marketplace Glassfish adapter.
