Assuming the correct user name and password is registered in the IDE, this is a
real issue, so far seen only on Windows related to a http connection socket error...
      Timing issue?

We've introduced a ServerSocket test instead of the Socket one for pinging and
initial results (thanks, heapifyman!) show that this is now working. I've
modified the error message slightly (NAV suggestion still in the details of the
message, but not in the main part in case this is still an issue).

This change will be in version 1.0.20, to be published shortly. I would
appreciate if everyone could try it and report back whether it works for them.

New plugin version 1.0.20 works fine for me. I could start and stop both gf v2.1
        and v3-prelude without problems.
No more issues with Kaspersky port monitoring.

        Thanks for the quick response.
