      Description

The hat usage message looks as follows:

      Usage: hat [-stack=<bool>] [-refs=<bool>] [-port=<port>] [-baseline=<file>
      -debug=<int>] [-version] <file>

But for the -stack and -refs the equals sign must be changed to a space.
So perhaps the actual problem is the command line parser.

      Felix Leipold
