      Description

      Trying to start a webstart application that links to the jai-imageio-webstart binaries using http://download.java.net/media/jai-imageio/webstart/release/jai-imageio-1.1.jnlp and it fails, telling me that the JARs are not signed. I've tried both solaris-sparc and windows-i586 JARs.

        Clearly the resolution would be for signed binaries to be updated.

        Is anyone working on this?

        In the interim, any suggestions to a workaround would be appreciated, eg; where to download the source and how to host the webstart binaries individually perhaps?
