      Description

      I have attached a test page demonstrating the issue - just click on the command link when the page is loaded.

      When JSF gathers all inputs to construct a post request it also grabs the inputs without a name attribute and the post query string gets broken.

      The query string looks like that:

      j_idt6=j_idt6&javax.faces.ViewState=-4380052833232984215%3A3373673723307734495&=&javax.faces.source=j_idt6%3Aj_idt8&javax.faces.partial.event=click&javax.faces.partial.execute=j_idt6%3Aj_idt8%20j_idt6%3Aj_idt8&javax.faces.behavior.event=action&AJAX%3AEVENTS_COUNT=1&javax.faces.partial.ajax=true

      The broken part is &=& after javax.faces.ViewState parameter.

        I suggest not to include input fields without a name parameter set in the ajax query string.

        You are mixing non-JSF with JSF tags. The f:ajax tag assumes a pure JSF environment.
