      It should be possible to switch state saving dynamically per request via StateManager#isSavingStateInClient.
      e.g. Therefore it would be possible to use server side state for view A and client side for view B.

      This is already implemented in MyFaces and would be a great Mojarra enhancement.

          This seems reasonable, but for things of the class, "MyFaces already does X, why doesn't Mojarra also do X", I think a spec issue, on JAVASERVERFACES_SPEC_PUBLIC is a better fit. Can you please file it over there and close this one.
