XMLAnyElement wmissing lax=true with xjc simple

    Details

    • Type: Bug Bug
    • Status: Open
    • Priority: Major Major
    • Resolution: Unresolved
    • Affects Version/s: 2.2.7
    • Fix Version/s: None

    • Environment:

Windows machine, xjc triggered via jaxws-maven-plugin version 2.3

      Description

When generating code from a wsdl that contains an xs:any tag with processContents="lax" and the xjc "simple" option (set via "<xjc:simple/>" in the jaxb custom binding XML), the generated code has a @XMLAnyElement tag without the ( lax = true ) property.

If the processContents is set to "skip" or if the "simple" option is not set the tag is generated with the attribute.

As the xsd is not one I master (it is the ws-trust XSD), I cannot permanently change it.
