      Description

      It would be nice to have notification of changes on the filesystem.

        For some applications, this feature is absolutely essential. If it isn't
        available on all platforms (is it?), the API needs to be carefully designed to
        reflect that. I definitely favor this feature, even if it isn't available on
        all platforms.

        The JNI wrapper link given before is dead. This one is live now.
