      Description

I would like to use the Amount class as a basis for engineering calculations in
      a MathCad-like program.

In order to do this, it is necessary for Amount class to implement a more
complete set of mathematical operators. I would propose as a minimum that all
of the relevant operators in the java.Math class be implemented in the Amount
class, with the appropriate dimensional limitations.

I think it would also be necessary to provide pow(Amount exp) and root(Amount n)
for dimensionless Amounts, and perhaps for non-dimensional amounts where exp and
      n are "equal" to integers.

        oops - I meant java.lang.Math
