      Description

JAX-WS contains a client API for calling method-based WebServices, but none for
      RESTful WebServices.

JAX-RS's RI "Jersey" contains a client API for calling RESTful WebServices, but
this API is not part of the specification.

As client side programming of RESTful WebServices is as important as writing
the WebService itself, and as a client shall not be bound to one particular
implementation, I want to suggest to add a mandatory client side API to the
next release of the JAX-RS specification.
