It would be enough to tell the table header cell renderer to use the blue
background, because we have our own sort icon management (independent of the
Java 6 table sorting).

I made now a change in revision 283 so that column headers of sorted columns are painted with a blue
background.

Thank you for implementation. I'd also recommend to support to set the sorting
column(s) individually. For example, we are using our own sorting code since
nearly 10 years now and even will not use the Java 6 sorting, because ours can
sort by multiple columns, not just by one.
