What is the exact version of the SLES 10 used ? SP2 ?

Also why is the -javahome flag set explicitly ? The installer comes with a
bundled JDK. Can you try without the explicit -javahome flag ?

        Possible reason for this error:
        1. corrupted .bin file during download.
        2. differed jdk used during-javahome argument (IBM jdk or jdk-6u8-linux-x64.bin
        used on i586 machine)

I tested on two of SuSE machines and going fine for me. Try with setting up jdk
i586 build and passed as -javahome argument.
