      Description

      for better conformance with JavaBean aware configuration tools
      DefaultValidator.getFormName would be better off as:

      protected String getFormName(Class cls)

      { return (this.useFullyQualifiedClassName) ? cls.getName() : java.beans.Introspector.decapitalize(ClassUtils.getShortName(cls)); }

      A JavaBean name is not always just the root class name with the first letter
      lower case.

      e.g. XYZValidator would be XYZValidator not xYXValidator
