        installing it in your local Maven repository. From there, you can deploy to the
        Maven central repository with a valid POM.

        The following steps will build what should match the 1.1 release from source,
        and install it in your local Maven repository.

        (1) Check out the Swing Worker sources for 1.1:

        cvs -d :pserver:

        {Java.Net Id}

        @cvs.dev.java.net:/cvs checkout swingworker
        cd swingworker
        cvs update -Dp -r RELEASE_1_1

        (2) Use Maven to build and install locally

        mvn clean install

        Based on the package name, and the fact that I wanted 1.1 (to match what was
        shipped with NB 6.5), I chose the following Maven identifiers:

        Based on the package names, I chose the following artifact identifiers:

        Group Id: org.jdesktop
        Artifact Id: swingworker

        Second attached "pom.xml" version changes Maven artifact id to "swing-worker"
        for consistency with the JAR file shipped in NetBeans 6.5.
