It could be useful to have a StringValues.NULL for cases where a null must be
returned instead of an empty String as with StringValues.EMPTY.

StringValue.getString is documented not to return null.

My problem was with the ToolTipHighlighter. You must use a StringValue that
returns null if you want to remove the tooltip.

as Karl already mentioned: returning null from the getString is not an option. Plus it
would be the wrong place: if you have a problem with ToolTipHighlighter, solve it there
