If a table has many columns (or if the screen resolution is low) and a user
brings up the column control popup, the menu goes beyond the top and/or bottom
of the screen, making some columns inaccessible and, thus, uncontrollable.
In my use case, I have a monitor with 1600x1200 resolution and a JXTable with 60
columns. I can't see some of the last columns, nor any of the actions that come
after the column selectors.
The solution is to either provide a scrollable popup menu (apparently
JidePopupMenu is scrollable?) or to expose the list of menu items in the API so
that an application developer can implement something equivalent - without
having to rewrite all the actions associated with column selection/deselection.
