        Pending resolution of Issue 65, you can

        catch a Pong message using a MessageHandler<PongMessage> for programmatic endpoints
        using something like:-

        @WebSocketMessage
        public void handle(PongMessage message, Session session) {}

        and you can send a Ping or an unsolicited Pong using the RemoteEndpoint API.

        Developers cannot respondg to a Ping with a Pong, because the container does that for them.
