      Description

Thanks to George for his comments on https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/xadisk/9_Fy3Lr3P5k.

The savepoint is a database concept enabling changes to be bookmarked and reverted-to (rolled-back) at a later point. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savepoint

It is not yet confirmed how feasible it would be to implement this, and how much value will it really add to xadisk users in general.

Would be nice if this is implemented in a pluggable way (ie. support multiple implementations). Some underlying filesystems on which XADisk runs already have capabilities for this functionality. For example if you run XADisk on a system with ZFS it would be nice if we could leverage ZFS' snapshot capabilities.
