Currently in the admin gui and admin cli we are given 2 options for where to
find a deployment unit:
1. Packaged file to be uploaded to the server
2. Local packaged file or directory that is accessible from the Application Server

It would be great if we could use a URL for the location. This would help when a
deployment unit is stored in a maven repository.

This is an excellent suggestion! Sharing can be vastly improved because of this.
Most of the actions in deployment can remain as they are, it is only the
question of downloading the archive before deployment commences.

Another way would be for the "server" to deploy directly from the URL and
download the archive exactly once.

What protocols (http, ftp etc.) do you think should be supported?
