 Description

What happened to Localized Strings in V3? In a few areas they are used
methodically. In other (most?) areas they are never used.

E.g. which of these is easier to read and maintain?

==================== slightly obfuscated actual V3 code
Logger.getLogger(XXXXXXX.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE,
"Couldn't find the module, when loading the foobars " +
"from XML directory : " + moduleName);
continue;

======================= Same result with a tiny amount of utility code
logger.severe("no_find_module", moduleName);

Bulk update to change fix version to "not determined" for all issues still open but with a fix version for a released version.

Generally, strings are internationalized in GlassFish, and a new way of doing this is being used with the new logging guidelines.

Marking this issue as invalid (even though it really is a valid point). The work is being addressed in other ways.
