I fell in a situation where there is a big (huge) form and the user can't fill
the form at once. I need a way to save a draft of the form. The problem is that
there is no way to tell the command component to bypass the required attribute
on the input components. I have to save only the filled components and to call
converters/validators/update model only for these components -something like
<h:commandButton bypassRequired="true" />

Prepare to delete "spec" subcomponent.

Changed subcomponent to Validation/Conversion.

This should probably be combined with further tweaks in the validation model.
There are some cases where you may want to skip validation altogether (whether
it's required validation or another form a validation) and still update the
model – a couple of JSF Days attendees were asking me how to do this today.

I like some of the ideas here: http://code.google.com/p/commons-validator-ext/

Bulk assign all of Sheetal's spec issues to me.

Set priority to baseline ahead of JSF 2.3 triage. Priorities will be assigned accurately after this exercise.
