 Description

<h:selectManyCheckbox> and <h:selectOneRadio> are very limited regarding the output and layout of the individual items. For example is not possible to output any further description for the items. Furthermore rendering tables for layout is quite old fashioned.

Sine these are base components and used very often they should be improved to support user defined output like MyFaces tomahawk eliminating the need for additional component libraries.

It would be very nice to be able to make design like this with use of <h:selectManyCheckbox>

<h:selectManyCheckbox> use of tables make it impossible.

I think this issue should have a higher priority.

I have meet limiteations of the <h:selectManyCheckbox> and <h:selectOneRadio> several times.

And made work around using <h:inputHidden>, <input type="checkbox"> and JavaScript to transfer values from checkboxes and radio buttons to the <h:inputHidden> to use them in JSF.

I wonder if this is related to JAVASERVERFACES_SPEC_PUBLIC-329

Set priority to baseline ahead of JSF 2.3 triage. Priorities will be assigned accurately after this exercise.
