290 - Require unanimous vote of any EG members who participated in the JSR to allow alternate licenses during MR; could permit license horse-trading during MR that benefits some EG members to the detriment of others.
PC> If you insist on opening up this can-of-worms please open a separate issue. I predict that we won't be able to resolve this before Final Draft. (What we have now is a reasonable compromise. Let's see how it works in practice.)
SS> As stated elsewhere, not requiring unanimous consent can lead to discrimination against some EG members. An exception would be the "nominal price increase" perhaps more specifically stated to be "adjusted for inflation". A change in price from free to some price would not qualify for this exception. Such a change would discriminate against open source implementers (assuming the original licenses were compatible with an open source implementation.)

If we pursue this I predict that it will not be resolved in finite time.
Repeating my earlier comment, we have a starting point. Let's see how it works before we complicate things further.
I'm closing this...
