XADisk 1.1

RedHat Ent. Linux Server 5.5 (remote folder)

 Description

A Linux network folder has been exposed in the intranet by Samba.
The folder requires authentication with a local Linux user to allow read/write access.
It has been mounted as a network drive on the Windows machine where the Weblogic server hosting the XADisk JCA adapter.

When a move operation is attempted, the attached stacktrace is shown (copy from the server's console, as there is a mix of logs and system outs) and the operation fails.

The local XA homedir after the operation is attached as a zip.

A workaround (if it fits, depending upon your application requirements) is to disable directory synchronization using setSynchronizeDirectoryChanges

Hi Stelios,

Thanks for bringing up the issue.

While I am investigating it and coming up with a plan, you may consider using:

http://xadisk.java.net/javadoc/1.1/org/xadisk/filesystem/FileSystemConfiguration.html#setSynchronizeDirectoryChanges%28java.lang.Boolean%29

to disable directory synchronization.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Nitin
