I looked into this briefly and I think the spec change needs to happen in the
platform spec. Impl-wise, it'll touch the BeanBuilder class.

It would of course be nice to be able to using CDI @Alternatives etc for
conditional enabling etc. If CDI interceptors and decorators are
feasible/practical is another matter.

MyFaces CODI allows you to do this!

I would expect this to work for Managed beans as unless we deprecate them.
