Getting started

The quick start...

This works under the assumptioin that JDK1.7u10(ea) is on the path. If that is not the case you must declare the path to the JDK1.7u10(ea) using the parameter -Dnbjdk.home=<JDK_PATH>.

 # Get eFX sources
 hg clone https://hg.java.net/hg/efx~main
 # Run the eFX platform
 ant [-Dnbjdk.home=<JDK_PATH>] -f efx~main/platform/build.xml run

Using the NetBeans support

This works under the assumptioin that JDK1.7u10(ea) is on the path. If that is not the case you must declare the path to the JDK1.7u10(ea) using the parameter -Dnbjdk.home=<JDK_PATH>.

 # Get eFX sources
 hg clone https://hg.java.net/hg/efx~main
 # Make sure the eFX platform is build
 ant [-Dnbjdk.home=<JDK_PATH>] -f efx~main/platform/build.xml
 # Run the eFX Support
 ant [-Dnbjdk.home=<JDK_PATH>] -f efx~main/support/build.xml build run

For integration of the eFX Platform Support in your NetBeans install the efx~main/support/build/updates/*.nbm files in your NetBeans IDE.
